Councilwoman Michelle Martin has made Washington Township her home for more than 27 years.  She was elected to fill an unexpired term in November of 2001, then elected again in 2002 and 2006.  She was nominated in 2008 to serve as President of Council.  Michelle earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Rowan University in 1993.  Michelle is an Account Executive with CCS Medical, in the Wound Care Division.  Formerly, she was an Elementary School Teacher where she taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grade in Monroe Township and Gloucester Township.  Michelle is married to husband Paul, a Washington Township Police Officer.  The couple resides in the Township's Gardendale section.  In effort to further her goals, Michelle is proud to serve the residents of Washington Township.  She is the council liaison to the Planning Board and Environmental Commission.
